TIMELINE: Discussion portion from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., followed by the social. For those of you interested, Hay Camp Brewing Company is planning on giving a tour of their facility over the social hour. 

DESCRIPTION: The Industrial Revolution 4.0 is driving manufacturers to look for smarter and more efficient ways to provide products to their customers.  Introducing new, innovative technologies into the manufacturing plant will address recent demands customers, suppliers and regulators have today. Implementing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 into your manufacturing plant, however, does not come without challenges. In this session, we will discuss the impact of becoming a “smart manufacturer” and address the challenges that come with it, including the Manufacturing Internet of Vulnerabilities.

Keith Deibert, Business Advisor (South Dakota Manufacturing & Technology Solutions)

Keith is a business advisor for South Dakota Manufacturing & Technology Solutions who provides consulting services for South Dakota's manufacturers. He is a graduate of South Dakota State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. Before consulting, Keith was an electronic design engineer, plant manager, Vice President of Operations, Corporate Director of Lean and President. Today, his efforts are focused on helping organizations improve their processes and productivity to become Lean enterprises.  Keith spearheads MTS' automation lab to help small to medium-sized manufacturers evaluate the risks and rewards of automation technologies, their operational impacts, and their business advantages. 

Adam Cooper, Risk Management Consultant - Property & Casualty (Howalt+ McDowell Insurance, Marsh & Agency)

Adam has eight years of experience in the insurance industry and has a knack for personalizing the insurance experience with his clients.  His passion for promoting and serving the Sioux Falls community is contagious and indicative of his giving and compassionate spirit.
