SUMMARY:Lean 101 Workshop
DESCRIPTION:A hands-on\, one-day workshop designed to help manufacturers identify waste\, improve consistency\, and increase operational capacity.\n\n\n\nManufacturers today are under increasing pressure to improve efficiency\, reduce waste\, and do more with limited resources. Lean principles provide a proven framework for identifying inefficiencies and creating more consistent\, value-driven processes. This workshop is designed to give participants a practical\, working understanding of Lean they can apply immediately in their operations. \nLunch is provided\, and the workshop is designed for manufacturers\, supervisors\, and team members looking to strengthen operational fundamentals. \nParticipants will leave this workshop with a clear understanding of how to: \n\nIdentify waste within manufacturing processes\nCreate a more visual and transparent workplace\nImprove consistency through standardized work\nIncrease capacity by reducing batch sizes\nUnderstand the benefits of pull systems and flow-based production\n\nThis interactive session uses a unique simulation-based\, learn-and-do approach that allows participants to experience how Lean principles impact a manufacturing operation in real time\, helping translate Lean concepts into real-world application—making it easier for participants to take ideas back to their own facilities.
