2018 Kentucky Lean Mission Trip Details

Our Kentucky Lean Mission Trip is dedicated to teaching you how to improve your overall processes and help you create a better, more efficient business. Through a series of various Gemba walks and discussions, you will see the tools and systems of operational excellence in action. The various companies will demonstrate fundamental practices such as 5S, visual management, problem solving, standardized work, quality at the source, safety, continuous flow, intelligent automation and much more.

- Toyota Motor Manufacturing
- Advanced Manufacturing Center
- Woodford Reserve
- Ford Motor Company
- Hyster-Yale Forklift
- Linak U.S.
Mike Hoseus - Mike Hoseus is a lean expert and co-author of Toyota Culture. He will lead the group along on Gemba walks and discuss how you can implement the processes you see on these tours into your own company.
Derek Browning - With 13 years of supply chain and logistics experience, Derek trains professionals and students in lean, six-sigma, and supply chain.
Cheryl Jones - Former Vice President of Manufacturing at Toyota, Cheryl focuses on teaching manufacturing and systems implementation utilizing her extensive knowledge and experience.
